Get Pickled was born out of a passion for preserving food, community and our planet – and a genuine desire to create more out of fresh ingredients. A move out of London, combined with UK lockdown 1.0, provided the catalysts for turning a cloudy, life-long dream into a clear reality. Paula, the UK-imported, Brazilian super-cook and globetrotting uber-feeder, finally had the time and space to cook up an enterprise that advocated and embodied her passions.
Inspired by her two beloved grannies, one from the Amazon and the other from Italy, Paula uses her wild imagination to transform humdrum food surplus into flavoursome, invigorating, vegan-friendly fermented foods, condiments and pickles. “Our aim is to be completely zero-waste and to have a minimal carbon footprint by using seasonal produce and any surplus we can get our little green fingers on.”

How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed through our website, in the shop section. Orders are processed only once the full payment has been received. After placing an order online, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a customer reference number. Should you wish to make an enquiry about your purchase, please include your customer reference number. You can simply reply to our confirmation email and we’ll get back to you.
Do you accept overseas orders?
Currently, orders are shipped throughout the UK only. Please do get in contact if you would like to place an order from another country, and we will see if we can help.
How do you pack orders?
Orders will be dispatched in sustainable packaging, with thermal packaging for the fermented foods and pesto. Timing is essential, since the package must arrive the next day, or risk being spoilt. For this reason, PLEASE provide a valid mobile number and email address so you can track your parcel, and if necessary notify your driver of a safe place, or a neighbour you trust to collect your package on your behalf. If the courier is forced to attempt a second delivery, and the food is subsequently spoilt, Get Pickled Somerset accepts no responsibility for this.
When will my order be dispatched?
All orders are dispatched within four working days (Mon-Thu). Bear in mind that the most of our products have to be delivered over night.
How do I look after my products?

Where is my order?
If your order has not been delivered, please email us at [email protected] with your reference number (provided in your order confirmation email) and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do I get a refund if I cancel?
Should you wish to cancel your order, please contact [email protected] Provided your cancellation request is received before your items have been dispatched, we will cancel your order and refund you in full without charge.
If you have a complaint
All my products are freshly prepared and inspected prior to delivery. We are confident that when our products leave us, they will be in optimum condition. If you are unhappy with the condition of any of your goods please let me know immediately by emailing [email protected] Should you have an issue with the quality of any of our goods, I will ask you to provide photographic evidence. If you do not let us know of a problem within five days of having received an order, or if you dispose of any of our goods without having first obtained photographic evidence, we are not obliged to accept your claim.
